I've been promising to put up a video here for some time, I know. The trouble is that whenever fun things are happening, the parents are usually too busy enjoying the show to actually record it.
But here's some footage of me banging my drum from this evening. Click the picture above, or click here to see about 1.3 minutes of live Daniel-action. Sorry about the quality - it's tricky to create good video that doesn't take forever to download.
Until next time.

Busy week in Denver!
Hey there, everyone!
I went to work this week. Mom and I were running errands, and we decided to stop by Dad's office and have lunch with him. This "working" thing is pretty easy - I'm not sure what the big deal is -> all you have to do is type on the computer and talk on the phone. I can do that...
Today we went to the zoo. This time, I actually noticed the animals. I particularly liked the bears, but the monkeys were OK as well. Something I ate didn't sit quite well with me, so we went home before completing the whole park. Oh well, I'll be back...
Developmentally, I now have another tooth in my upper jaw. That makes 5 alltogether, and this week I really learned how to use them to chew things, and to grab ahold of food and use my teeth to rip it to shreds. Very useful skills, those.
Logically, I turn 10 months old this week, but when? There's no February 29....
With that puzzler, have a good week everyone...
Love, D.

Waffles for breakfast
Good morning! I'm trying to reverse the recent trend of not posting every week. I don't always have new things to say, but heck - I'll try to make up for it with pictures.
I have a small announcement -> my eyes are green - or at least mostly green. You may not have caught that from the pictures posted here, but those baby blues have changed to green. I understand that this is normal procedure.
I can now pull myself up so that I can crawl over obstacles. This comes in handy when I want to get to things. Pulling myself up to standing is still some distance away, but I'm getting increasingly mobile.
My favorite food? (thanks for asking). I love bananas and avocado, and will eat those until I have a tummy ache. Other than that, my favorite food is "whatever mom and dad are eating" -> I feel very left out if they won't let me have a bite. By now the only things that are off-limits are citrus fruit, honey and nuts.
Yesterday I had a fever - probably something that I caught from Dad. We spent some time in the emergency room at Children's last night because I got the shakes, but I'm fine now. I love nurses - it's one of my weaknesses. It doesn't matter how sick I feel, those nurses just make me turn on the charm.
Oh, and Grandma Babe is visiting. I'll try to get some pictures of that.
Until next time.

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hi everyone! I'm sorry about the slow month of postings. February has been pretty busy. The biggest (and I mean that literally) news is that I have two new teeth! My uppers came in in record time about a week ago. I'm still camera shy about them, so it will probably be a while before you get a look here. I'm also very vocal these days. I've mastered 'mama' and am pretty good at 'papa', 'ball', and 'bubble'. (I LOVE bubbles!) I'm getting pretty good at eating. I can feed myself finger foods, drink from a sippy cup (although it's way more fun to drop those and watch mom/papa pick them up), and I'm trying really hard to get the spoon thing down. Grandma Babe comes for a visit tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to that. Mom says that G. Babe is going to play with me this weekend while they go skiing. That should be really fun - I've heard that she knows a fun song about some ducks!
I think that about covers it. I hope you all have a wonderful Valentine's Day! Love, D
