Batman spectacular and Halloween 2012

Friends

It’s been a few weeks.  I acknowledge that.  Here, after getting better for a little while on the “less is more” bandwagon, I go off and let 7 weeks pass without a blog update.  Well, I have a little bit of an excuse – we’ve been busy.
So without further ado –> a few pictures from the end of October before moving onto the big posting – Thailand 2012.
Around the end of October, Eric and Daniel went to the “Live Batman show” which was touring through Colorado.  This is the same show that his Norwegian cousins had seen a few months before, and had gotten good reviews.  Seen from the eyes of a 7-year-old, it was awesome.  Older critics might point out flaws in the performance, but – well – it’s fun to see kids enjoy themselves.  Good times.

Then it was on to Halloween.  This year Rachel was a Cowgirl – very clearly NOT a “cowboy” and Daniel was a “Mirror Ghost” – the packaging probably said something like “Ghoul”, but since the faceplate was reflective, that’s what he chose to call himself.

We cruised around the neighborhood  on a nice and not-too-cold evening, and did the usual knock-on-doors thing.  It was a nice time.  The below picture is of the 2012 decoration project – milk-jug ghosts.

And – back home it was time to consume the loot.  Since this is getting written several weeks later, we know now that the candy wasn’t gone until December 1.  It’s pretty crazy stuff.

And, since I’m in the mode of updating blogs – onward to November, and Thailand 2012.
Love, ADRE.
