Circus 2012

The circus is in town, and we had such a great time last year that we just had to go again.  It’s fun to see a kid just staring, not blinking with their mouth open…  It’s a good show for adults, but  a great time for kids.

This year’s favorites were the trapeze artists, and the motorcyclists who raced inside the steel ball.  Also – the dogs.

 

And that’s about all that’s new from around here.   The school reading program is in full gear, which just means that we’re tracking what we read, as they get a prize/recognition from the school library for reading 1500 pages.  We’ve just finished reading “James and the Giant Peach” at bedtime, and have moved on to “The Hobbit” – though we’re only one chapter in so far.
